Constitution amendment embraces Madhesi's sentiment: NC President Deuba

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the constitution amendment would accommodate the concerns of the Madhesi people.
Inaugurating the district conference of Nepali Congress, Morang, here Friday, NC President Deuba expressed worry that different forces were trying to create mistrust and foment disintegration by creating division between Madhes, Hill and Himalayas.
He also urged the NC activists to be united for the local polls in the fixed date.
On the occasion, Nepali Congress central committee member Dr Shekhar Koirala asked to quit the communal sentiments and caste-based discrimination existing in the party itself.
Central leader Dr Minendra Rijal, Dr Dila Sangraula and lawmaker Amrit Aryal also expressed their opinions on the occasion. RSS
